For those whose mathematical skills are deteriorating as quickly as mine, a reminder of reversing a
pow() calculation. In my case, knowing 2^3 is 8, I needed to use the 2 and 8 to get to 3. Here are
the three calculations for getting the remaining value given two known values, the third solving my
particular problem.
<?= pow(2,3) ?> = 8
<?= pow(8,1/3) ?> = 2
<?= log(8)/log(2) ?> = 3
