Oops, there's a little mistake in my last post !
If you want to have an unlimited depth you must replace this line :
<?php
...
elseif ( $d >=0 && $d < $maxdepth )
...
?>
by this correct one :
<?php
...
elseif ( $maxdepth < 0 || $d < $maxdepth )
...
?>
