For me, this does neither work on Windows XP (Apache 2.0.54+PHP 4.3.11) nor on SuSE Linux 9.0
(Apache 2.0.53+PHP 4.3.10).
I always get following notice:
"Notice: Undefined variable: __FILE__ in test.php on line 1"
