To set the time in French, i tried:
'fr_FR',
'fr'
'FR'
'french'
'fra'
'france'
'French'
'fr_FR.ISO8859-1'
on FreeBSD, adding .8859-1 after 'fr_FR' finally solved it
the end is the beginning is the end... ;-)
