This is a significant improvement to the php language. However, much as taylorbarstow mentioned,
this does bear a striking similarity to Pear::DB both in api and behavior. Having said that, this
should definitely be included in the core php offering.
However, data access objects, as presented earlier, are no more than a php implementation of the
long understood design pattern by the same name. This should not be included in the language as it
is an implementation of technology not a core necessity.
