Error in docs -- this:
// open the file in a binary mode
$name = ".\public\dev\img\ok.png";
should be:
// open the file in a binary mode
$name = ".\\public\\dev\\img\\ok.png";
It is only by chance that the path used doesn't contain special characters after the backslash
(like "\n" and "\r") and it is sloppy programming to not escape the backslashes.
