The docs say $_SERVER[ 'HTTPS' ] is 'Set to a non-empty value if the script was queried through the HTTPS protocol.' This may well be true, but at least sometimes it's also set to a non-empty value if it was NOT queried through HTTPS. On my machine, with http, it's set to 'off'. So, don't be tempted to test for a non-empty value. Test for 'on'. ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/reserved.variables.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+56603 Delete: added to the manual -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+56603&report=yes&reason=added+to+the+manual Delete: bad code -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+56603&report=yes&reason=bad+code Delete: spam -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+56603&report=yes&reason=spam Delete: useless -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+56603&report=yes&reason=useless Delete: non-english -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+56603&report=yes&reason=non-english Delete: other reasons -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+56603&report=yes Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+56603&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
