If you are retrieving data from more than one column, then to save time you can use an integer
instead of the column in the field part of the argument. For example;
$query = "SELECT
firstname,surname,age FROM
users";
$result = mysql_query($query);
$firstname = mysql_result($result,0,0);
$surname = mysql_result($result,0,1);
$age = mysql_result($result,0,2);
Where the number you use is the same order you place them in the query. (Starting from 0)
