Need help desperately :(
I am not able to change my last modified header. This seems to be my BIG problem. I made a single
line php file and executed.
<?php header("Last-Modified: Sun, 11 Sep 2005 15:34:36 GMT"); ?>
As i inspected in the telnet window, the Server still said the current GMT time.
I am using Apache/2.0.53 (Win32) PHP/5.0.4
The response was:
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Date: Sun, 11 Sep 2005 16:45:46 GMT
Server: Apache/2.0.53 (Win32) PHP/5.0.4
X-Powered-By: PHP/5.0.4
Content-Length: 0
Connection: close
Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1
There was no Last-Modified header at all. The same way the "ETag: " header also is not
working for me :(
Because of this I am not able to implement cache techniques. What could be the problem?
Thanks and regards
Sheriff
