If you're having a problem during "make" remember to enable Zend multibyte support,
by adding --enable-mbstring, whilst you're configuring PHP.
If you're using the FreeBSD port:
cd /usr/ports/lang/php5
make config
[select MULTIBYTE]
make install clean
