---PHP SESSIONS NOT WORKING--- addition to fasteddie's solution on the session cookie path. I am running Apache 2 and PHP 4.4.0 on a Windows XP SP2. Had the same problem that the cookies are saved, in my case att c:\\tmp, but not recognized at reload of the page. The session.save_path must also be set to blank. The cookies are stored in c:\\windows\\temp.
