well, this site tells you that the gif functions are only available if you're using an older gd-lib than 1.6 - as http://www.boutell.com/gd/faq.html tells you, the gif functions returned in the newest releases. quote: Does gd support GIF images? Note that gdlib-config --features can be used to list the image formats supported by gd.
