note 56987 added to function.mssql-connect

I'm looking for help. Im working in a project and all goes just fine, but moths ago i see the connections some times fail, I change from CGI to ISAPI and works betters for a while besides im using now mssql_pconnect. But now is failing a lot, but now fail when i try to select the DB. Some times work, and some time not ? what can i do ?
