hi,
i tried as given above,
i am using appserv 2.4.0 which integrates apache 1.2, php4.3.6 and also mysql.
it is able to show phpinfo()
when i uncommented the two extensions given as
extension=php_oci8.dll
extension=php_oracle.dll
now when i restart the apache it gives following error:
unknown(): unable to load dynamic library 'c:\appserv\php\extensions\php_oci8.dll' - the
specified procedure could not be found.
i have put the php_oci8.dll( previously it was not there) and restarted again,, same error comes.
and when i make the php file as below:

it gives following error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: ocilogon() in c:\appserv\www\oracle_connection.php on line

could any one help what to do in this situation...
