I am not sure but using html_entity_decode($var,ENT_COMPAT,"ISO8859-15") or
"ISO-8859-15" for that matter returns the woring code for € the sign.I get an
¤?!
At least when converting html for usage in pdf (fpdf) this is the case. For now i swap the
€ by hand.
