mysql_connect() opens a connection that allows only a limited no. of resource ids. Which means, say,
in a certain connection you can have only a hundred or so (I don't know exactly how many)
select statements running properly.
After these Resource ids are exhausted mysql queries won't return any information.
For large scripts therefore mysql_close() becomes necessary.
