I had a lot of trouble with the PHP XSLT extensions on Fedora Core 4 running PHP 4.x
I was going from a Mandrake/Mandriva box to Fedora, and XSLT worked fine on the Mandrake box. I
couldn't get the XSLT extension working on Fedora for the life of me, though.
So I created a function that uses the command line xsltproc application:
function xsltproc($xslfile, $xmlfile)
{
$toexec = "xsltproc " . $xslfile . " " . $xmlfile;
exec($toexec,$results);
return implode("",$results);
}
