Sometimes it seems that the zlib-header (Content-Encoding: gzip), will not be send automatic.
The obvius solution is to add "header('Content-Encoding: gzip);" to all ones
php-files (since the content actually get compressed, but no header is send).
I have seen this problem on both Debian (stable and testing release) and FreeBSD, so I have
concluded that this must be PHP's bug. Also, I have tried to replace the php.ini, with other
forms of config's, but none have solved the solution with sending the header automaticly.
I someone if you there with a solution, I would be glad to now, since zlib really is a great module
to save bandwidth with (if you are paying money for how much you use, and want to save some :) ).
