note 57551 added to ref.mail

hello, i have my own game (www.lms-rpg.com) we have a slight problem, the problem is this: when you register the code uses the mail(); function to send a email to the users($_POST) email address. But there is one problem this is as below: When they register as an hotmail address, the email takes ages to arrive, however is they register as any address but hotmail, it arrives strraight away, is there any way of fixing this?? Please contact me if so.
