As I have been working with XHTML and XML I have noticed that a php file with the following header
information:
<?php
header('content-type: application/xhtml+xml; charset="iso-8859-1"');
header('content-disposition: inline; filename="index.html"');
?>
will look fine in a gecko based browser, but IE displayes it as markup as if I was looking at the
source of the output.
Now if I save the output to some .html file IE renders it correctly (if you can call that
correctly).
I tried setting the content type to text/html, text/xml, and application/xhtml+xml (which is what it
should be). No dice.
Any ideas?
The site I am working on is in development at www.aproximation.org if you want to see glorious IE in
action. Thanks for any help you might offer!
