The exact differences between this and apache_response_headers() is that this function supposedly returns the headers that PHP has prepared to pass to Apache, whereas the apache_response_headers() returns headers that Apache is prepared to send to the client, /processed/ and all. These functions do totally different jobs. And in fact headers_list() doesn't even function as documented anymore - a total set back for me because there's no equivalent function!
