It seems to me, that the function cal_from_jd is not useful
if the argument JD has to be an integer.
For example:
the JD 2453650.4 = 2005-10-06 21:35:60.0 UT
and
the JD 2453650.6 = 2005-10-07 02:24:00.0 UT
are different dates.
