Be careful with the popen() function when you want execute sendmail or another function.
Many servers on the internet have safe_mode on, and in that case you can only execute functions from
one specific directory, specified in safe_mode_exec_dir. So executing /usr/sbin/sendmail is out of
the question when safe mode is on.
