Note Submitter: sylkie at hotmail dot fr ---- I have been searching for a way to match all tags except one for a long time and found it recently: <((([^t])|(t[^a])|(ta[^b])|(tab[^l])|(tabl[^e])|(table[a-z]))[a-z]*)> will match everything except <table> NOW: I thought I could apply it to the following problem but I couldn't manage: How do you get 'titi', the content of the smallest embedded table in: <table>toto<table>titi</table></table> using grep? Anyone? S.
