Hi: I have a page with a input(text) where the user put a time like (00:00) in the format of 24hrs. I want to validate that the time format is correct... i think i could use the mktime() to check, i think that if a user puts something like 33:99 hrs. thes mktime will return -1, but thats not the way it works....its seems that the mktime calculates 24:59 hrs plus 09:40 could some one give me a clue how to validate this... I hope some one understand my problem, i am not good with mi english.. :S ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.mktime.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+58801 Delete: added to the manual -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+58801&report=yes&reason=added+to+the+manual Delete: bad code -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+58801&report=yes&reason=bad+code Delete: spam -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+58801&report=yes&reason=spam Delete: useless -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+58801&report=yes&reason=useless Delete: non-english -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+58801&report=yes&reason=non-english Delete: already in docs -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+58801&report=yes&reason=already+in+docs Delete: other reasons -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+58801&report=yes Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+58801&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
