For anyone with redirection problems,
I found that the following call was giving the CGI error on my IIS server.
header("Location: ".$_SERVER['PHP_SELF']); //problem here
exit; //good practice for IIS (never found it necessary for *nix)
In switching the code to I was able to get rid of the issue alltogather
header("Location: ".$_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER']); //fix
exit;
Hope this helps someone out in the future
