The error you mention can only ocurr if:
1) You haven't updated the DB.php with the new parseDSN func
2) You are passing an array to the connect method instead of a string
If 2) and we want to still support the "array" format, IMO the array should be
initilized in parseDSN and not being doing the checks for missing fields in all
the extensions.
