I also find this annoying. The formatting inside the code for docblock should be as compact as possible. Lets be honest. Having the docs in the code is a cludge. I do look at the docblocks while skimming the code, but its not worth it to add empty lines to beautify the comment layout inside the code. If you want nice reading use the generated API docs. regards, Lukas
