for the I18N_Country go ahead, the I18N_Message i am still maintining, since i am also using it quite often.(suggestions and improvmenents are always welcome anyway). But since Naoki Shima had programmed and obviously finished the Country-stuff I think it will be great if you can pep it up and take over maintanence! or did i misunderstand your question? Richard, go ahead ... just to summarize for _my_ better understanding: what i understand by maintainance is just to be the person that has an eye on the package and keeps it all coordinated. which doesnt exclude that others send patches or put them right in the CVS. I see the maintainer simply as the one, who at least knows the entire thing and knows which effect a change might have. i guess we can not expect every person who submits a fix or enhancement to overlook all side effects a change might have, but the maintainer should. i hope this confirms to the common sence of what a maintainer is, anyway i try to do my best :-) -- Wolfram ... translating template engine .... http://sf.net/projects/simpletpl ... authentication system .... http://sf.net/projects/authIs this still being maintained? If so I'll send a patch of some changes I made. If not, I'm quite happily take to over maintenance.Hmmm, believe it or not that last sentence was supposed to say: "If not, I'm quite happy to take over maintenance"
