Hi all,
I haven't heard anything, but over the weekend have gotten 85% done of the
converter for DocBook and the templates for peardoc2. Once this is
complete, there will be a powerful way to automatically generate both the
phpdoc and peardoc2 files (and even backward-compatible peardoc, once I get
those templates going) with one click. I assume this will be useful, as you
can set up your computer, create a simple config file, and then go to lunch
while it parses and outputs in a few pre-made html formats, a pdf, a
peardoc2, peardoc and a chm by the time you get back.
Is there anyone out there who has any interest in steering the direction I
go with my peardoc2 templates? If I continue to get no response, I'm just
going to do what seems to be right to me, and that may not fit pre-conceived
notions. I'd love to get my hands on a spec, any spec will do.
Thanks,
Greg
P.S. this is going to be the biggest thing that's happened to PEAR, imho.
Anyone dropping by pear.php.net will get full-fledged documentation for
every class, and we authors write 1 set of docs, and click once to generate
files
