Pardon me for not delving into the archives to hunt for this, but allow me
to say... I tried contacting Ulf a couple times with some questions on
PHPDoc and offering to help fix it up. Never heard back from him. So,
seems like he's out of the picture (though I hope he's not really, uh, you
know, "out of the picture").
