Hi all, I have made a class that outputs a Interleaved 2 of 5 barcode of a string. This class uses gd functions and the generated image can be any of gd supported image types. New barcode types can be added easely. I'm working on Code 39 now. The code can be found at: http://jason.unleashed.com.br/Image_Barcode/ The test script can be foud at: http://jason.unleashed.com.br/Image_Barcode/test/barcode_test.php?num=987654321 Change num to any NUMBER you want. I'm thinking about putting it at Image/Barcode. Any votes / comments? regards,
Definitely a useful package, I would give a +1, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do this (should you be a developer or have a CVS account to do this or something? I'm currently just reading this list (and pear.webmaster (a lot of posts there concerning the 404 links to the manual download there btw) and pear.general, I've also written a really small extension (to fetch n-to-m linked objects) to DB_DataObject which I will post here shortly). As mentioned custom width's and height's are necessary imho. Also, I think it might be better to have a function return the blob and not just output it with a header. You could create the class var $image, and store a created image there. Then you could write functions as createImage($text), getImage() and outputImage(), to construct, return and show the image.
