DB problem with MSSQL?

Hi there, is there a known problem with PEAR::DB when connecting from a Linux box to an MSSQL server on Windows? I have made two test scripts: One uses the native MSSQL functions, the other one PEAR::DB. I want to retrieve the result rows as associative arrays, so I´m using mssql_fetch_array in script 1 and $result->fetchRow(DB_FETCHMODE_ASSOC) in script 2. Script 1 returns exactly what it should: An array that is both indexed and associative. Script 2 returns only an indexed array, which is useless to me :-( Does anyone have an idea?
