Hello,

<snip>Yes, please try it. I did not have an absolute need to open the source of Metastorage or even MetaL. The reason why I did it was because I was hoping for feedback, specifically criticisms regarding possible flaws of design or implementation. I also would like to hear about deficiencies in the documentation because if it is not good enough to motivate people to use it I will hear much less feedback than I could. Please do not spare me. Some people do not like criticisms but for me that is was I appreciate most because that provides me opportunities to improve the tool sooner that I could realize that I needed that also for me. I hope the tool can be useful for you or anybody else but if it needs improvements on things that you need, chances are that will also benefit from those improvements soon or later. You can post your feedback here or mail me personally if you prefer, but I think it would probably be most appropriate to post it in the MetaL development mailing list: metal-dev@yahoogroups.com You may join the list sending a message to metal-dev-subscribe@yahoogroups.com or visit the list page: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/metal-dev/ -- Regards, Manuel LemosMetastorage completely avoid the need to code any parts of the persistence API. You just define a CPML (Component Persistence Markup Language) definition which is just a XML file, and it generates all the classes for you with the functions that you need. In just an half an hour you can create a persistence API for a complex data model that would take you days or weeks to develop by hand.I definetely need to have a look at it. It sounds very interesting !
