Hi please ask general pear stuff on pear-dev@lists.php.net, there are a lot of people, which are just waiting to help you :) (I forward this to pear-dev for the record and for other people, which have maybe similar problems ) but, here's the solution go into the imagick directory adjust package.xml to the new version (AFAIK you don't have to provide the changelog, juste <release><notes> for this version) adjust also the version in imagick.h #define IMAGICK_VERSION 0.9.2 then do $ pear package (be sure to have recent pear scripts) in that directory. You should get now a imagick-0.9.2.tgz (or similar) in that directory (or errors...) - test it with $ pear install imagick-0.9.2.tgz (or "pear upgrade imagick-0.9.2.tgz" if you already installed an older version or "pear upgrade -f imagick-0.9.2.tgz" if you have to force it) - commit your new stuff to CVS (if you didn't before) $ cvs commit - tag the release $ pear cvstag - upload it at http://pear.php.net/release-upload.php If you're package is ok, everything should be done automatically from now on. The pear webpage is also updated, so you don't have to worry about it. HTH chregu On Mon, 2002-12-09 at 15:52, Michael Montero wrote: > Thanks for fixing this!
