Hi, PEAR gurus!
I have been recently using Mail_mimePart class a lot. It works fabulous
except when composing messages that have MIME structure several levels
deep. I can use addSubPart() in some of the cases, but more often I need
to prepare a mime part, and then attach it to an existing parent
multipart. Otherwise things become really cumbersome.
I solved that by doing an ugly thing like this:
$whole_email->_subparts[] = $another_part;
But I'd rather not access private members directly and have a function
to do just that. The function does exactly the same thing as already
existing addSubPart().
Please, tell me if that sounds good, bad, or if I am missing something
obvious (any feedback is welcome). Also, see if you can find a better
name for the function. If there are no objections, I will apply this
sometime soon.
Thanks!
