to comment if you like, although I am already working on the problem.
In Net_DNS <= 0.03, the zone transfers from non-BIND servers will only
provide the SOA record. This is caused by name server implementations
responding with multiple DNS packets for each resource record within the
TCP connection to the server. BIND implements a method for sending all
resource records inside of one DNS packet. Some versions of BIND will
respond with many packets. In BIND version 8 and 9, this can be
configured with the "transfer-format" option. ie:
options {
...
transfer-format { one-answer | many-answers };
...
};
This will be fixed in 0.04.
