Hello all,
After a bit of work today, I am pleased to let you all know that
phpDocumentor's new XMLDocBookConverter's peardoc2 templates are fully
functional. Support for tutorials is also fully functional in all active
converters.
Incidentally, work on the CHM converter has been postponed for a little
while, but may make it into the next release, we'll see.
the output from the peardoc2 templates needs testing, and lots of it. If
you have a desire to see this addition to phpDocumentor, please download a
cvs snapshot from:
http://developer.phpdoc.org/downloads
Note that today's work won't show up until tomorrow's snapshot, which is
taken some time tonight. Please also note that the stringent requirements
of peardoc2 may force a few projects to write better in-code comments if
they wish to use this facility. phpDocumentor can't make good documentation
from poor commenting. Think of it as a source of inspiration: you can have
great peardoc2/html/pdf manuals from one source, and that equals less work!
Take care,
Greg
