Hi all,
I've just released my HTML_BBCodeParser class to cvs. Since i'm new to the whole cvs thingie, maybe you want to check if it's ok. I'm working on a package.xml, so I'm aware that it's missing.
I've added each directory and file with 'cvs add <file|dir>'. Is it true that dir's aren't added recursively? Then I used a 'cvs commit'. Is this all correct?
A few questions:
Most package have a line like:
// $Id: file.php,v 1.12 2002/12/24 03:26:52 user Exp $
I think the cvs program automagically updates this. How do I add such a line?
I didn't know what version to give my files, or how to do it. I suppose cvs has a versioning system (as that's what cvs stands for), but how do I use it. All my files now have version 1.1, maybe this is too high for an initial release? How do I lower them (maybe re-release), or control what part should change (1.x.1 or 1.1.x)?
Any and all pointers/help are appreciated.
regards,
Stijn
