phpDocumentor 1.2.0beta1b is available for developers to download and try
at:
http://www.phpdoc.org/~CelloG/out/PhpDocumentor-1.2.0beta1b.tgz
This will be the same as the version released on pear.php.net when someone
gets around to fixing the problem with pear.php.net. The archive is created
by pear package, and can be installed using the pear tool. It was created
with the latest upgrades to both Archive_Tar and PEAR and works on my
machine, it should for you too.
New and exciting features for PEAR users (as suggested by Christian
Dickmann):
with the new --pear command-line option, phpDocumentor can:
-guess package based on directory
-find private variables/members [var $_privVar,function _privFunction()] and
mark them @access private (with a warning if they aren't marked)
-find PEAR destructors
The beta is identical to CVS for Jan 10 2003, for those using the open cvs.
Please download and try out the beta, the parsing and HTML output is very
stable, and we need testers for the new XML:DocBook:peardoc2 output, and for
the PDF:default:default output as well. The CHM:default:default output is
stabilized, and could use someone with interest in making it look prettier.
When the pear.php.net bug is resolved, I will upload this release to the
website there.
Take care,
Greg
