Hi Jon,
There is zero information there about the installer and its function. Also,
I didn't see any information (that Arnaud mentioned) about dependency
support in the packagexml format.
As they say, the devil's in the details and I need those details before I
can make a final decision - should we do our own package structure via
Phing, or should we use PEAR tools and maintain a binarycloud "distro" cvs
mirror in pear.
Those are big decisions, and of course I'd rather contribute to something
existing that works - but I'm going on the assumption that we'll use the
PEAR installer unless we can find a roadblock - so I'm looking for a
roadblock :)
