yes I also find this name to be very vague. Even if DB_QueryBuilder does not include all the features the package offers it is still better than a relatively meaningless name such as DB_Entity.
it's not really the best name, that's true. i just wanna get started, that's why i am desperatly seeking :-) may be 
    DB_Abstraction
    DB_Abstract
    DB_QuickAccess
    DB_OOAccess
DB_AccessLayer DB_OOLayer
Aren't PEAR::DB, MDB, DB_etc, etc. all "access layers" and "abstractions"? :) Even if DB_QueryBuilder doesn't describe every feature of the package, if it describes the core functionality of it (and it appears to), then I think it's the best choice so far. Lux
