There is a minor problem with the setVariable method. If the value to replace the placeholder
contains a \'$\' followed by a number, the preg_replace function treats that as a
backreference and the full output is incorrect.
For example:
setVariable( \'{VALUE}\', \'The quote is for $5,000 US\' );
Will result in:
The quote is for ,000 US
We have developed a fix for this, but would like the fix to be in PEAR so we can count on it for all
of our deployments.
Thanks,
