I took a look to the code:
It seems that we would need to change the name of every methods, .... so that the Pear coding standards apply.
Also, we may need to develop 2 adaptators for IT/ITX if it is not yet the case?
But the main issue migth be how to use the factory pattern?
Rigth now, it doesn't seem possible to use 2 different template systems in the same page. I would like to know if we can accept this limitation or not?
If not, we may want to change the adaptor to a proxy? or something else? I am not used to work with templates, so I don't know so much what would fit the best. What do you think?
It could be interesting also to use the Cache code from pear? or to realize a merge (I am thinking about the lock issue)?
