I see, so I need to submit each class as if they were a completely seperate entity. Each class is very close to the PEAR standards, it's just the names of the classes that need changing. You said that each class must keep it's variables in it's own namespace, does this mean that each class can have it's own sub directory within the category directory? The main problem with configuration files is that you don't want them to be overwritten when a user updates a class. So far I've been using a configuration class that downloads as config.php-dist, which must be renamed to config.php to be accessed, this allows a config file to remain with local settings even if it is updated. Is this kind of thing acceptable in PEAR? Thanks for all of your replies. Kelvin
