Hi,
I did it for myself, but I think it would be useful for the PEAR people too.
It's object-oriented extension to the standart php session handling mechanism. It supports all of the standart functions plus some extra. New methods are isNewSession(), setCookieless(), setExpire(), setIdle(), isExpired(), isIdled() and others.
It also supports database storage for session data using DB package.
