I'll start right away on it. I should have something for you guys to look at tonight, I've already started fleshing out the code. I'll adapt my Crypt_DES to use it as an example and maybe then we can get the ball rolling on a wider variety of algorithms.While you are on it, you could perhaps think about a common api for all Crypt classes, as it was suggested in a previous thread. I send the proposal of another idea to Tim, to make the Crypt package similar to the Auth package, but instead of Containers we will have Ciphers.
