Hi, I have written an extention (currently called autoglobal) that allows one to enter names of variables in the ini file to be treated as a super global (perhaps a better name is superglobal). This is very handy for us as we have paths to code librarys, a single database object and other variables that we use in almost every function we create. We have created our own array $_DN so that our settings and such are not stepped on by the global scope. Very handy. My question is how do I go about getting this into PEAR/PECL? I simply used the ext/skeleton for the basis of my code. Not much there really, it is rather easy to do this. You can see the code at http://dev.phorum.org/snaps/. Just grab the latest autoglobal package. Thanks, Brian Moon dealnews.com
