Greetings!
Well, it seems that I am finished with writing unit tests for IT[X] API. The
current version of my IT[X] fork, containing these tests, is available in the
usual place:
http://158.250.10.119/pear/IT[X]-fork.tar.gz
source of the class files:
http://158.250.10.119/pear/IT.phps
http://158.250.10.119/pear/ITX.phps
Since this is my first attempt at writing such kind of thing, I'd be *very*
grateful if someone familiar with both IT[X] and writing tests would look at
'em and tell me of their possible shortcomings.
I must admit, that it was a very good idea, 'cause I did find
incompatibilities in my implementation of touchBlock() and replaceBlock()
functionality and fixed them.
Now, both stock version of IT and my version pass the API tests (except the
functions that are only available in my fork, of course). As for ITX, my
version passes all the tests, but the stock version does *not*, due to some
obvious bugs.
I'm going to add some more tests to the IT[X] usage testcase and write some
testcase for prepared templates caching and for bu... er, backwards
compatibility features, after that I'll consider the thing finished and will
start the flame again, be prepared. :]
