PEAR installer , download first check after

[root@odin smarty]# pear upgrade MDB downloading MDB-1.1.1.tgz ... ...done: 151,969 bytes MDB not installed Ok i have noticed this in a couple of occations, pear installer seems to download things first and check after, it would be better if the dependancy requerements are checked first and then package is downloaded, this would reduce the load on the client and the pear.php.net server. I know this might be hard to do in some cases but (you need the package.xml to check for dependancies), but there has to be a better way to handle this. Yavor
